Q: Can you Recommend Packaging for Products with Essential Oils?

A: Rather then using expensive glass jars, packaging made with polyethylene terephthalate, or PET is a great option. PET is an inexpensive, light weight (and curb-side recyclable) alternative and is what we use here at Essential. PET is an Essential Oil-resistant packaging that does not “sweat” or “leech” the Essential Oils. It is sensitive to high temperatures, though, and may deform when using melt and pours.  We always advise to purchase a sample of any packaging to test.
